Discover the breathtaking Gorges de l’Hérault with its old mills, stunning landscapes and small, wild beaches.
We offer you a choice of two courses, 4 km, or 12 km - with varied descents, in canoes from 1 to 4 places.
Our team will be there to welcome you at our canoe base :
- Moulin de Bertrand is located 50 minutes from the beaches, 35 minutes from Montpellier, and 15 minutes from Ganges.
Private client parking is available in our car park, when you arrive.
Our receptionists will be happy to give you further information including canoeing course details, prices, or booking.
You will explore by canoe, or kayak, one of the most famous tourist sites of France, only visible by canoe, with its old mills, natural mini beaches, fauna and wild flora.

Between 9:45 and 14:45, come at Moulin de Bertrand base whenever you want! Accessible to anyone in good physical condition from 6 year’s of age.
One of the most beautiful descents of our region, which you can do in one day, or in a half day.
From the mill of Bertrand to the beaches of Saint Guilhem-le-Desert, the descent by canoe is a series of rapids and plagniols calms ? for beautiful sensations.
No barriers to cross for your safety.
You will navigate in the end of the Gorges. A very nice loop without any difficulty.
Between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., come at any time ! Accessible to everyone from 5 year’s old.
This course is OPEN from July 12 to August 31.
A nice refreshing trip with very little fast flow, from the beaches of Saint Guilhem-le-desert to the Moulin de Fontanille.
This course is ideal for families with young children, or for people looking for a quiet course.
